First time Homebuyer in Silver Spring, MD - $7500 Grant Money
First we wanted to say sorry, we just saw your email, because of the busy days when we started moving to our new house and also the computer crashed.....
Thanks to our God, HE gives us a nice house through the right person. Thank you for all who had helped us to find our house, and to help us to pay the mortgage with a good price and interest rate. It is a BIG help to us for the future.
Brent : nice to know you even though I didn't meet you (conny), but I know you were a helpful person. You helped us a lot, so we can have the lowest interest and monthly payment (cheaper than our apartment monthly payment)
We are so satisfied for what that you have done to us, perfect job.
Once again thank you very much and God will bless you all abundantly."

Military Home Loan Testimonial
"Brent Mendelson is the perfect mortgage banker for prospective homeowners. A few months ago we were considering a home purchase in Montgomery County. Brent promptly responded to my queries on Trulia.com. He was friendly, honest and patient with us throughout the process. As a military family, we were moving blindly to the area. He gave us advice and basic information about communities with and around Montgomery County. Ultimately, we found our dream home in Frederick County. As we started the process of securing the mortgage, he was always up front about all costs associated with closing. During the final few days of the closing, he was available to answer our smallest questions, whenever they arose, even on weekends. Thanks to his professionalism, our closing went without any problems and we are now proud homeowners. If we ever buy or refinance again in this area, Brent will definitely be our banker. We also plan to recommend his services to our friends if they choose to buy. Thanks Brent."

DC Purchase Testimonial
Dear Sir or Madam:
"It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to commend the wonderful service that I received from Brent Mendelson of Monarch Bank, who acted as my loan officer during the purchase of my first home in December 2010.
Throughout the process of purchasing the home, I felt like I was securely in the hands of an experienced professional. It was clear in my frequent communications with Brent that he was very knowledgeable about the mortgage loan process and the real estate industry generally. He was fantastic at explaining complicated concepts of finance to a lay person such as myself and particularly familiar with the various ways in which the market has changed in recent years from both the perspective of the lender as well as the borrower.
In working with Brent over the course of several months, I found him to be trustworthy, sincere and reliable. His ethical approach to his work stands in stark contrast to the prevailing public perception about the real estate and home mortgage industry as a result of the national financial crisis. Contrary to that image, in Brent’s hands, I very much felt as though his word could be trusted and depended upon. For example, although he had no problem explaining the roles and obligations that exist between Buyer and Seller and between Buyer and Agent, he did not hesitate to let me know when I was soliciting advice that extended outside of the financial side and into the purview of my agent. Nor did Brent ever promise anything to me that he could not deliver in the end, which I very much appreciated.
I also found Brent to be exceptionally patient, diligent, and most of all, accessible. Brent went out of his way to make my experience as a first-time home buyer a pleasant one. Brent took the necessary time to explain things and to quell my frustrations during phone conversations that often took place late in the evening just to accommodate my schedule. On one occasion, he even went the extra mile to smooth out a problem that arose between my agent and myself related to securing verification that a repair was done prior to closing.
Brent’s commitment to old-fashioned customer service was on full-display when he personally appeared for my closing bearing a congratulatory gift, no less. His appearance impressed the seller, an experienced investor, who had thought the days of mortgage lenders showing up for settlements were long over."

Thanks for all of your hard work. I know you spent a lot of time behind the scenes getting everything set up. I don't know how, in this time of mortgage turmoil, you could make the refinance process go so smoothly. If we hadn't just gone through it with you, I would not believe that it could be so easy. If the rates drop again or we decide to move we'll definitely be in touch. Thanks again.Sincerely,

Sorry this is reaching you a bit late but I wanted to make sure that you knew how much Graham and I appreciated all your help during the closing of our new home. I have to admit that without your help many of the issues we faced due to the lack of communication and action from the sellers’ realtor would have caused this deal to not go through. You went out of your way to make phone calls to all parties involved and made us a priority until this deal was signed. We sincerely appreciate this, since I’m sure we are not your only clients but thank you for making us feel like we were.
Take care!!!
