VA IRRL repeat customer.
I've had the pleasure of working with Brent on two separate occasions with seven years separation in between. Even when we weren't doing business he would call to check on how things were going with my home and send Christmas cards as well. It's those acts of kindness that let me know I'm just not another business transaction to Brent. It was only right for me to contact him when I chose to refinance my house. Much like the fist time the process was painless, transparent and educational.
I like how Brent takes the time to explain what's going on, many times before I even ask questions. When I did have questions, Brent was very patient in explaining thing in laymen's terms. When unexpected requirement came up for me to provide documentation there was no mystery as to why they were not asked for originally. Never at any point did I feel like I was under pressure to do anything I didn't feel comfortable doing. All in all, I really can't imagine a more pleasant experience working with a loan officer and I would kindly recommend Brent Mendelson for any type of financial home loan. If he doesn't have the answer he will surely point you in the right direction and be available for any questions. He truly builds long lasting, professional relationships!

VA IRRL Investment property
My experience with Brent and 1st Mariner Bank was amazing!! He was professional, courteous and understanding of my unique situation as a military member with an out of state property. Brent was very attentive and available to answer any of my questions. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable about the refinancing process with a VA backed loan and did his best to get me the best rate and payment I needed to meet my financial goals. I highly recommend him and his services to military members who are looking for someone who can help them navigate the refinance process to protect their assets." ~ Angela T. USAF
